Maravich Repeats; Lahm Wins Mt. Pleasant’s First Individual Title at the 2026 WPIAL Boys’ Diving Championships

The Western Pennsylvania Interscholastic Athletic League (WPIAL) held its WPIAL/UPMC Sports Medicine Boys’ Diving Championships this past Friday and Saturday at North Allegheny High School.

Maravich successfully defended his Class 3A title, becoming the second North Allegheny diver since 1980 to win multiple WPIAL gold medals in the 1-meter dive, joining Connor Kuremsky (2008, 2009, 2010, 2011). His repeat performance adds to a distinguished list of Tigers champions that also includes Will Schenk (2022) and Scott Wolf (1991).

Lahm earned Mt. Pleasant’s first WPIAL diving championship with his victory in Class 2A. The Vikings become the 33rd different school to win gold in the 1-meter dive since 1980.
