Pittsburgh, Pa. – The Western Pennsylvania Interscholastic Athletic League (WPIAL) announced the locations and dates for its fall championships on Tuesday afternoon, with 10 sports set to hold championship events from September to November.
The WPIAL will contest championships in boys' and girls' cross country, field hockey, football, boys' and girls' golf, boys' and girls' soccer, girls' tennis, and girls' volleyball during the fall season. The first WPIAL championships of the 2025-26 academic year will be held on September 17-18 for singles competition in girls' tennis.
A full list of championship locations and dates for the fall season is listed below. Locations and dates are subject to change.

September 30 – Valleybrook Country Club (McMurray, Pa.) – Class 2A Individual
October 9 – Cedarbrook Gold Golf Course (Belle Vernon, Pa.) – Team
Girls' Golf
October 1 – Sewickley Heights Country Club (Sewickley, Pa.) – Class 2A -3A Individual

Founded in 1906, the Western Pennsylvania Interscholastic Athletic League (WPIAL) represents Pennsylvania Interscholastic Athletic Association (PIAA) District VII, which is one of the 12 districts governed by the Constitution and By-Laws of the PIAA. The WPIAL represents its member schools by promoting academics, the safety of participants, sportsmanship, citizenship, and lifelong values as the foundation of interscholastic athletics. The league holds championships for 27 different sports, and its member schools are made up of 10 state counties: Allegheny, Armstrong, Beaver, Butler, Fayette, Greene, Indiana, Lawrence, Washington, and Westmoreland.
