PIittsburgh, Pa. – The WPIAL James Collins Scholarship Fund Golf Outing returns on Monday, June 21, 2027, at Cedarbrook Golf Course in Belle Vernon. The outing raises funds for the WPIAL James Collins Scholarship Fund, which provides scholarships to student-athletes from schools throughout District VII. Since 1992, the WPIAL has awarded more than $759,000 in scholarships through the program.

This marks the first WPIAL James Collins Scholarship Fund Golf Outing since 2023. Registration is $135 per golfer or $500 per foursome, and includes 18 holes of golf, a cart, lunch, buffet dinner, and refreshments. The registration deadline is Monday, June 14, while sponsorship commitments are due by Tuesday, June 1.

"The return of our James Collins scholarship golf outing is something we're very excited about," WPIAL Executive Director Vince Sortino said. "It provides an opportunity for the entire WPIAL community to come together in support of student-athletes who excel both in the classroom and in competition.
