The Western Pennsylvania Interscholastic Athletic League (WPIAL) has crowned team champions in girls' track & field since 1984. The 2026 season marks the WPIAL's 42nd year of team competition in the sport, and the winning the championships were North Allegheny (Class 3A) and Quaker Valley (Class 2A).
