The Western Pennsylvania Interscholastic Athletic League (WPIAL) has crowned singles champions in girls' tennis since 1973. The 2024 season marks the WPIAL’s 52nd year of competition in the sport, and winning the championships were Shady Side Academy's Meriwether McCargo (Class 3A) and Belle Vernon's Gabriella Dusi (Class 2A).
