A team that was known nationwide. Ranked the Number 1 team in the country by USA Today. The team finished 13-0, outscored opponents, 435-20, had 11 shutouts and the first-team defense did not give up a point. North Hills’ coach, Jack McCurry, also was USA Today’s national coach of the year in 1987.
